To register for the course, contact Danny and provide the $200 non-refundable deposit. The deposit will go towards to total cost of the course.

The course is three FULL days. Expect minimum 8:00am to 6:00pm each day

The aim of this course is to prepare the Instructor candidate to teach life-saving skydiving skills to students, handle unusual events related to dispatching students, and then evaluate and give them effective feedback on their performance.

A notebook and pen are also strongly recommended.

Please review the following sections in the Reference Manuals prior to the course. Doing so will streamline the course.

If you haven’t already received info on accessing the online pre-course quiz material, please contact Danny.

Please also ensure you’ve taken the time to observe current experienced JM’s around your drop zone.

Bring your CSPA Membership Card. Ensure that your CSPA Membership is current prior to arriving.

During the course, Candidates will be role-playing as both JM and Student. Candidates must be prepared to jump student gear.

Candidates will also be expected to pack student gear when not jumping. While packers may be available, it is expected that Candidates will assist in expediting the jumping as much as is reasonable.

Come to the course prepared with all your jumping gear and be ready for many hop and pops! Lots of time is spent in kneeling positions, stretching is highly recommended.

Those candidates who desire to pursue the JM-Restricted rating will still be expected to throw pilot chutes during the course.
